An introduction to what Jewish people believe and how Christians can reach out to them with the Gospel
Many Christians are fearful of engaging in conversations about their faith with Jewish people—knowing that there are complex issues and suspicions that lie deep beneath the surface. And yet there are many points of contact, and much common ground.
This short book is designed to help both Christians and whole churches understand more about the variety of Jewish people we might work with, meet or know, and to reach out to them with the good news of the gospel. Written at a level that everyone can understand, this book emphasizes the importance of forming loving, honest and open relationships as part of the way we engage with our Jewish friends.

To my mind there is no better starting point for preparing to share the gospel with Jewish people than this excellent guide. Page after page, I found myself wanting to cheer out loud because of its wisdom and helpfulness. Nothing in recent years has reinvigorated my own desire to speak to Jewish people about Jesus more than this book. It’s slim in size, but mighty in worth.
This helpful book is an ideal resource for anyone wishing to understand the Jewish people and their religion, and learn how to share their own faith in Jesus with them. It is a practical, prayerful and personal guide, written in an accessible style and dealing in a comprehensive way with the questions that Jewish people ask about the Christian faith.
Randy Newman is a Jewish believer in Jesus who had the joy of seeing his elderly Jewish parents come to their Messiah. I have partnered with Randy over many years in various types of Jewish outreaches and have always appreciated his great sense of humor, depth of soul, passion for his own people and his uncanny ability to effectively communicate what is important about the gospel message. In this new book, Randy is able to apply his wealth of practical experience and great skills that have been honed over time and tempered by excellent theological training. I know that this book will be a great help in the field of Jewish evangelism and as president of Chosen People Ministries I look forward to using Engaging Jewish People in training my Gentile brothers and sisters to reach Jewish people for Yeshua the Messiah.

This book is great for someone who wants a basic introduction to Jewish people's culture and beliefs. Good thing is if you're Christoan their will be some things that you'll find familiar Christianity being of Jewish origin. However there's much more fun facts and cool apologetics stuff to it. If you get this book down, analysed and locked into your mind, it can help many of our Jewish friends perhaps even Non- Jewish Christians to come to faith in the our awesome triune God. Praise Jesus. If you're someone who wants to study Judaism for more in depth, further outreach, I would recommend this book as a starter and then buy other, more in depth Christian books on evangelising our Jewish friends. Dr, Michael Brown's "answers to Jewish objections" book series could be good for this greater complexity if you would like. Randy Newman, at the end of the book, gives some cool reading materials like books and websites for further, complex and simple alike Jewish study with honest, fact based Christian material. Back to Randy's book though, it's a 10/10 for me and I would highly recommend it. This is a key foundation knowledge block for Christians to have when they desire to engage with Jewish people more. This is a must quite simply. Not much more to say. In my view this is a pretty much perfect book for basic Judaic study. God bless the author and anyone reading this review, anyone of you who'll go on to read this book by Randy and our beloved Jewish friends of course. May Jesus our God and saviour grant them shalom in his Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏💪✝️
