Description

Follow the story of God’s Messiah from Genesis to Revelation. See how God prepared the world for Christ's first coming and how that wondrous gift was given; and look forward to Christ's future coming and how all things will be made new.

Alongside Alistair Begg's insightful Bible devotion, each day features a question to aid personal reflection and a carol or hymn to enjoy meditating upon. These readings will make December a month of celebrating the wonder of Christmas and the hope of Christ's return.

A free preaching guide is available to make it easy for a sermon series to sync up with church members' daily advent reading.

DAISY, Braille and Large Print versions are available via the Torch Trust

If it looks like a Christmas book and if it sounds like a Christmas book, then it surely must be a Christmas book! But it’s even more than that. Let Earth Receive Her King shows us how the Christmas story explains God’s purposes from the dawn of time to the end of history. And it wouldn’t be an Alistair Begg book if it didn’t also show us how that story provides answers to the deepest needs of our hearts. Reading these pages will surely help all of us have a better Christmas. But I for one wouldn’t be surprised if it helps some readers have their best Christmas ever.

In this just-right book for daily reading during the Advent season, Alistair Begg presents the compelling story of the need for Jesus, the coming of Jesus, and the beauty of Jesus that runs from Genesis to Revelation.

“Another Great Begg Devotional”

I usually enjoy Alistair Begg's devotionals, and this Advent edition is an excellent new book to take you from 1st December to Christmas Day this year. Each devotional includes a Bible passage, Alistair's reflection (not too long, not too short) and then a chance to pause at the end with some questions and the lyrics of a Christmas carol. Definitely a great buy for yourself or for your church this Christmas!
