I recently received a free pocket Bible featuring the books of John as a free resource from my local church. The format is compact, making it incredibly convenient to slip into my bag and carry with me throughout the day. Its design makes it approachable and unintimidating, especially for those who may find the full Bible overwhelming at first. What stood out to me most was the easy-to-read layout—the text is clear, good margin between the lines and comfortable on the eyes, the paper is white and make highlighting easy even in a smaller format. This feature made reading a pleasure and helped me progress through the Gospels much more quickly than I had anticipated. The simplicity and accessibility of this edition encouraged me to engage with the Word on a deeper level.
After using it, I was curious to learn more about the publisher, and when I looked it up, I was delighted to discover there were more books in this series. Naturally, I purchased several more the book of Matthew, Mark and Luke from The Good Book Company and they’ve quickly become a staple in my study and reflection time. Their consistent quality, readability, and portability have made them invaluable tools for my spiritual growth.
I highly recommend this pocket Bible to anyone beginning their exploration of the Scriptures or looking for a compact edition that’s both practical and engaging. I hope to purchase more future editions in this series as they become available.
