Visually stunning Life Explored DVD with 14 subtitled languages including Chinese, Spanish and Russian.
Part of the Life Explored series.
Life Explored is an exciting way to share the gospel in today's highly visual culture. Developed by Christianity Explored Ministries, the seven interactive sessions are based on stunning videos shot all over the globe.
Life Explored will help people uncover what they’re really living for, and shows how, in Christ, God meets our deepest desire for happiness. Each session explores an aspect of God’s character. We see that the God of the Bible is good, trustworthy, generous, liberating, fulfilling, life-giving and joyful. And ultimately we see that the greatest pleasure in life is not enjoying the gifts he has given, but enjoying God himself.
This exciting outreach course can be run before or after Christianity Explored or Alpha and is perfect for anyone looking for answers to life's big questions.
This Life Explored DVD has superb production values and a warm, engaging presentation of the gospel by Rico Tice, Barry Cooper and Nate Morgan Locke. It includes two videos per session and is over 150 minutes running time. Works alongside the leader's handbook and guest handbook.
It features 13 subtitled languages on the same disc making it superb value. Ideal for using with an English-speaking group where one member would benefit from viewing subtitles in their mother tongue. The languages are English SDH, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian.

At a time in the Western world when basic knowledge of the Bible is increasingly rare, it is a pleasure to recommend Life Explored. Here is an introduction to the good news found in Jesus Christ, sweeping through some of the "big pictures" in the Bible. As far as a short series can, Life Explored outlines what the Bible is about, exposes our idolatry, and makes clear where forgiveness and hope lie. This is one of the best of the rising number of evangelistic tools addressing men and women in the twenty-first century.
It may be more challenging to provoke the right questions than it is to offer good answers. Life Explored meets that challenge with success. Integrating superb film clips with basic questions and a Leader’s Handbook to guide discussion, Life Explored makes evangelism more engaging in small groups. It definitely takes away the ‘eek’ factor for both leaders and participants. I look forward to using Life Explored in my own evangelism and recommending it to others.
Christianity Explored and Discipleship Explored have been a tremendous blessing to Christians around the world, and even Christians here in my own local church. I'm thankful to see the trilogy come to a fitting close with Life Explored. I commend this resource to you and to your church just as I have its two predecessors.
The video talks and Bible passages take us on a simplified journey from Genesis to Revelation. This is very helpful, especially when seeking to share the gospel with people starting from zeero Bible knowledge. … This is a terrific package for the 21st-century world. … I'm already thinking of who I could introduce to Christ through Life Explored.... continue reading
The material is good but the videos were ok. The first part in session was not necessary. The second was fine but there were a couple of sessions that had sensual scenes that in my opinion can trigger someone with difficult pasts. The sensual scenes don’t have to be so detailed and dark.
Life Explored is a tremendous course that really meets people where they're at in life. It hits the big targets of life with how the gospel truly fulfils them and the course does so in a relevant way.
The material explores the main themes of life and gives people a clear understanding of the Gospel, inviting the hearer to think in their own lives without attacking or judgmental words.
I've run this 3 times now and each time it's been very helpful for those doing the course, which basically shows how Jesus is far better than anyone/thing else we love and worship (which everyone does). Yes, like any course, it is best to adapt it to your context rather than just use it "straight out of the box". But it doesn't take too much work to tweek a few questions or add in some conversation after the first video if people are likely to be confused. Well produced.
Excellent service. Great material. Highly recommended.
Found the material engaging and flexible. The stories are good but a few had quite sombre background music.
Excellent material, definitely God inspired! Very thought provoking for Christians as well as an outreach tool Professional standard, challenging, the Truth being clearly explained but in a different way. Would highly recommend.
We found this material to be really excellent. We love how it challenges the view of a God who is austere and far off and instead through reflective video clips, clear presentations and interactive bible studies reveals a God who runs towards us and wants intimate friendship with us.
A questionnaire was produced for a group of around 25 people. Generally, they were undecided as to whom the course would benefit the most - as a Christian Basics Course or as a Discipleship Course. Film Clips. Far more people benefited from the 2nd film clip than the 1st. There were real and genuine problems for many in understanding the 1st film clip and to show just the 2nd clip would not work because it refers constantly to the 1st clip.
Bible Study Material. The vast majority of people found great value in the Bible studies, questions and discussions and were also challenged in their Christian commitment and lifestyle.
This is a superb resource: well-presented and engaging. I would echo previous reviewers' comments that it would be good to have at least one female speaker, and that it might help leaders to have some notes 'explaining' the 'films' - though these have certainly been very thought-provoking for our youth group.
